Our commitment to circular hospitality is grounded in action—reducing emissions, conserving resources, and closing waste loops through innovation and partnerships. By integrating sustainability into how we operate and host experiences, we contribute to a more resilient hospitality ecosystem and a more regenerative future.

At New World Saigon Hotel, we believe small actions can drive meaningful environmental change. In partnership with XSOLAR, we installed 454 solar panels, enabling on-site generation of clean, renewable energy while reducing carbon emissions.
From May 2025 to January 2026, the system generated 211,882 kWh of clean energy and reduced 143.359 tons of CO₂, equivalent to planting 7,167 trees. Transparently monitored and responsibly managed, this initiative lowers our operational carbon footprint and strengthens energy independence—supporting a more sustainable future for hospitality and every guest stay.

At New World Saigon Hotel, everyday operations are reimagined through a circular lens. In collaboration with local manufacturers, we collect used coffee grounds from across the hotel and transform them into Coffee Grounds Cups, helping reduce waste sent to landfills.
From 2023 to 2025, the hotel has diverted 6,047 kg of used coffee grounds, converting them into 10,200 reusable coffee cups. These cups are available for purchase at our Coffee & More shop, presented as gifts to guests staying in Club and Suite rooms, and used for all takeaway coffee across the hotel. Guests are also encouraged to bring their own coffee grounds cups, with a 15% discount offered on their next coffee.
Through this initiative, we turn daily habits into tangible environmental impact—one cup at a time.
At New World Saigon Hotel, sustainability is about turning everyday actions into meaningful impact. In partnership with Lagom Vietnam, we launched a beverage carton collection and recycling program—becoming one of the first hotels in Vietnam to integrate structured waste collection into daily operations.
In 2024, the initiative collected 1,104 kg of cartons—nearly 100,000 units—and transformed them into 1,800+ recycled products, supporting local families and community donations. Building on this momentum, a total of 1,143 kg of beverage cartons were collected in 2025, demonstrating how shared responsibility and innovation can embed circular practices into hospitality and create lasting environmental and social value.

At the ESG Vietnam 2025 Conference, co-hosted by New World Saigon Hotel and Rise Partner Organization, we shared a vision of sustainability rooted in Vietnamese identity. With partners including Green Transition, Tales by Chapter, ECO Solutions Vietnam, and Ve Chai Oi, the event brought sustainability to life through recycled materials, plant-based dining, on-site waste sorting, CO₂ tracking, and zero single-use plastics.
Organic waste was converted into fertilizer within 24 hours, while recyclable materials were locally processed. The zero-waste luncheon showcased how mindful hospitality can honor culture through measurable action.
VIEW SHOWCASE VIDEORaucycle is a sustainability initiative launched by New World Saigon Hotel, inspired by the idea of celebrating “perfect imperfection.” In collaboration with local young artists, the project transforms surplus produce into artworks that carry both aesthetic value and environmental meaning. Through careful collection, drying, and handcrafting, Raucycle presents a collection of six sculptural pieces created from fresh produce in their natural, one-of-a-kind forms.
All proceeds of USD 10,440 were donated to community partners, including Song Foundation (tree planting in Sóc Trăng), ENDA Fund (financial support for informal waste collectors in Ho Chi Minh City), and Saigon Children’s Charity (school renovation in Hậu Giang). Raucycle reflects how New World Saigon Hotel integrates circular thinking into operations while creating positive impact for both community and environment.
